MIT Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly assaulted multiple children in a swimming pool at an MIT recreational center one morning last week, authorities say.
MIT Police say they received a report of five incidents of indecent assault and battery on a child under the age of 14, all between 7:30 and 8:50 a.m. last Wednesday, July 24.
The incidents reportedly occurred while the children were swimming in a lap pool at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center, according to a statement issued by Sergeant David J. O’Connor.
MIT Police said the suspect is described as a “male, with a mustache, approximately 30 years of age, and was last seen wearing a lime green shirt and carrying a duffel bag.”
Anyone with additional information regarding the incidents is asked to contact MIT Police at 617-253-1212.
