Celtics announce 2024 preseason schedule of 5 games

The first two games will be played in Abu Dhabi later this fall.

The Celtics kick off their preseason on Friday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 6 in two games against the Denver Nuggets. Both games will be played at Etihad Arena as part of the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024.

The 18-time champions will then return to TD Garden to face off against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m.

To finish out their exhibition slate for the upcoming NBA season, the Celtics will play the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, Oct. 13 at TD Garden, then again on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Scotiabank Arena. Both games begin at 7 p.m.

All five preseason games will be aired live on NBC Sports Boston and can be streamed on the NBC Sports app. The last three games will also be broadcast live on 98.5 The Sports Hub. Fans can find additional preseason coverage on Celtics.com and all Celtics social media accounts.
