Singer and Massachusetts native Clairo announced her North America tour on Wednesday, with two stops scheduled in Boston.
Fans can catch the “Alewife” singer, whose real name is Claire Cottrill, at the Roadrunner in Brighton on October 28 and 29.
The singer, who grew up in Carlisle, released her third studio album Charm on July 12. The 11-track album is her first time putting out new music in nearly three years. Pitchfork gave Charm a score of 7.5 out of 10.
Her first album, Immunity, which came out in 2019, received critical and commercial success, spawning hits like “Sofia” and “Bags.” She won Pop Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards that same year. Her sophomore album Sling was released in 2021, and topped several “Best of” lists.
The last time Clairo headlined a show in Boston was in February of 2022 at House of Blues Fenway, which has a maximum capacity of 2,200. The Roadrunner can fit 3,500 fans, according to their website.
