Vacationers can take their Cape Cod vacation up a level by hopping on one of the most scenic train rides in the country, according to Thrillist.

Look inside Cape Cod’s Candleberry Inn, named the No. 1 B&B in America

The website recently released a list of the most magnificent train rides in the U.S. and included the Cape Cod Central Railroad, which runs 27 miles between Hyannis and Buzzards Bay.

“These eco-friendly journeys take you through some of the most stunning scenery in the States,” Thrillist wrote about its list.

Here is what the website wrote about the Cape Cod Central Railroad:

“Take in the charm of this seaside community with a ride on this railroad through salt marshes, oceanfront trails, and cranberry bogs, complete with an audio explainer on how cranberries are harvested, should you wish. … You can opt for either the narrated sightseeing tour or the dinner train, where you’ll be served a gourmet, five-course meal at a white linen-clad table in traditional rail fashion. Both options take you through areas of Cape Cod that can only be seen by train.”
