Due to popular demand, Boston travelers will have greater access to Abu Dhabi this fall, according to Etihad Airways.

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates just announced an increase in service to the capital city. The airline began flying out of Logan Airport in March with direct flights between Boston and Abu Dhabi four days a week. The service will increase to daily on Oct. 27.

“Our Boston service continues to perform strongly, with our flights near capacity since our inaugural flight in Boston this March,” said Arik De, chief revenue and commercial officer at Etihad, in a statement. “Having already experienced record passenger demand, we’re excited to invest further in the North American market by expanding our flight frequency out of Boston ahead of the peak winter travel season.”

The added flights will offer travelers more convenience and flexibility in time for the peak winter travel season, according to the airline.

Travelers fly on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with 28 seats in business, 262 seats in economy, entertainment systems, in-seat power, and in-flight WiFi.

Boston is the fourth U.S. destination for Etihad Airways, which also flies to Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. The airline also operates service in Toronto, Canada.
