Photos & setlist: Kane Brown sets Fenway Park on fire (literally?)

A minor blaze did not stop Kane Brown from dazzling Fenway with his country-rock fusion Saturday night.

Since self-releasing his first EP in 2015, Kane Brown is on fire. His hit song “Miles on It” with masked singer DJ Marshmello reached No. 20 on Billboard’s top 100, and “Thank God” ranked No. 13 on the list last year.

But the heat got a little out of hand at his concert at Fenway Park on Saturday night. As the country-rock star sang “Lose It,” a fire ignited at the top of the stage

Still, the 10-minute delay resulting from the small blaze did not stop Brown from captivating the crowd gathered at Boston’s iconic ballpark.

“He and his band split the difference between amped-up versions of Brown’s biggest hits and sweet ballads that showed off the core of his appeal,” read the Boston Globe’s review.
