Fresh off a memorable playoff run – in which his scintillating saves consistently saved the Bruins – goalie Jeremy Swayman is eager to keep the momentum rolling.
Swayman, who posted a save percentage of .933 in the playoffs, expressed his desire to continue what he and his teammates have started.
When asked if he’s hoping to stay in Boston long term, he replied: “I am.”

Swayman: “I am.”
Swayman, 25, told reporters he’s confident a long-term deal will be completed. He added that he doesn’t want to be anywhere else, and his teammates echoed a similar sentiment.
“His confidence that he has in himself and just projects it out onto the team,” Charlie McAvoy said. ” … I know I internalize it and I get so much confidence from watching him play.”

Swayman was solid in the regular season over 44 games, then he upped his play in the postseason and kept the Bruins afloat in many games.
The Anchorage, Alaska, native signed a 1-year, $3,475,000 contract in August, and he’s hoping that turns into a bigger deal in the near future.
Swayman said he was brought to tears after Bruins fans chanted his name after the handshake line following Game 6.
“I couldn’t be more grateful to have a city, have a home base that’s as supportive as Boston,” Swayman told reporters. “They mean so much more than just fans to me. It’s truly a home for me now.”
